Dave Clawson is a Class Act. He has and will continue to do an outstanding job with lesser talented players than all other Coaches in the ACC. I, for one, admire the job he has done at Wake.

I could not agree more. This Dave, as opposed to the other one, is an outstanding coach who continues o do more with less. I just hope we find a way to out coach him and to outplay his team.

He’s at Wake, he’s done a really good job, they don’t have any of the things Clemson has, it’s not even close. The only reason he has a shot is we are hurt & they are very experienced this season. They won’t be near the team next year they are this year.
That being said, let’s go young Tigers kick their butts!

If you haven't been their campus recently, Wake easily has the second best football facilities in the conference. It isn't the same level as Clemson, but their investment in football over the last 5 years is impressive and obvious.
They have plenty of resources there, but again, it's just a notch or two lower than us. For a kid that isn't quite a blue chipper, but is okay being red-shirted, wants to learn to play disciplined, fundamental football, takes instruction well, and wants a great education, Wake would be my choice over and above other blue bloods like ND and Stanford and Northwestern.
And a fair number of their starters still have elgibility and will come back. I think they'll be our primary challenger in the Atlantic for the next few years. If they still had Sage Surratt and Kenneth Walker III (both of whom left with elgibility remaining) their offense would be absolutely terrifying - and it's going to be a handful for us tomorrow...

No comparison. Dave Clawson is a class act. Have you not read the mutual respect he and Dabo have for each other? The job he does at Wake Forest with that size school and academics is simply amazing.

I agree - they may get to the ACCCG, but they can earn it in Chestnut Hill, not in Death Valley.

I'm a fan of Dave Clawson. He's done an amazing job at Wake. He should win National Coach of the Year. I wonder how long he stays at Wake.
