On Hunters drive last night what I

thought I saw was him getting hammered by 2 defenders and no foul. This morning, after watching the slow motion of the play I see him throwing his head back with no contact. Ironically, had he not thrown his head back the defender would have hacked him across his head and a foul most likely would’ve been called. The non calls against Schiefflin a few plays before were the ones most egregious imo.

There were too many missed calls at the end of the game to count. Especially the way the previous 36 minutes had been called. If your going to be bad at least be consistent.

Imagine the no-call by the officials, who were right there and saw the same thing you did in slo-mo. You’re right- it should not come down to one call, and they were right in letting them play. I did not see the lane violation UNC allegedly committed, but I agree with the no-call on the foul. No amount of whining is gonna change it. Still got more ball to play.

The UNC guy stepped into the lane before he hopped back. It was the right call.***

It is also perplexing tha Hunter got bumped on his 3 point attempt right in front of the official who once again choked on his whistle.

Congrats on your 100% pulse and hope that builds you up. I don’t really post much but been on here for as long as I can remember. Does that answer your question? Are you the Tigernet pulse monitor?

Would live to see a break-down of the last 5 fouls

on both sides. Ideally, the same amount of contact would occur.
Chef’s mugging after a touch foul was the most egregious. But mostly because it was 60s after a much lighter foul. One would expect that if the refs are adjusting their tolerance to the flow of the game — a reasonable thing for humans to do — something happening in such close proximity should be very similarly assessed. They had different tolerances for each side of the court.

Chase always tries to get a foul. He flops around and jumps into contact every time he drives to the basket . Clearly not a bball gal but I see this on other guards too. It's probably ignorance on my part of the game but it's changed a bunch over the years imo. I've seen fouls called on players driving and using their arm to get separated, something Chase does often. 20 years ago, that would have been a foul.
But, I respect what he said. Shouldn't have been in the position to need a foul call.

I agree with everything you said, but you failed to point out that Chase still gets fouled by both defenders in other ways. Scott pushes him on the shoulder and makes body contact in the air. Traore also makes body contact. Even if you say Hunter initiated the contact, the help defender was inside the arc, which is a foul even if he stands perfectly still (please correct me if I’m wrong).

What on earth are you talking about? Chase was blatantly and clearly fouled twice, if not three times, on that drive. He was also fouled on the last play of the game, INTENTIONALLY, but the ref ignored that too.
