My ads many times have nothing to do with my search history. Right now there is one for some cooling sheets or something like that. I haven't been looking for any bedding. Some ads are legitimate though.

Our you searched for something that puts you in a certain demographic. The AI pairs that to other items searched by the same demographic.
The search engines do have a madness to them.. even if the that 7th degree of Kevin bacon seems totally unrelated.

When I was a child or teen these pop-up ads with wet T-shits with the nips showing right in your face were considered por nog raphy. Now I guess it's just normal to be interested in the Clemson Tiger football team or a huge fan and get breasts thrown in your face every 5 minutes. Temptation is everywhere. It seems you can get away from it. Being a Clemson fan is a wholesome hobby. I don't come here for erotic materials. It should be banned.

It can be based on one's personal search history but it can also be based on search history of those in the same network.
So if you get ads that arent based on your search history, talk to those also on your network LOL
