How do you act in public wearing Clemson attire?

1

Dec 31, 2023, 2:37 PM

Just curious what y’all think. When I wear that paw in public I always try to be extra courteous and humble. Not that we shouldn’t act that way all the time.

Reason I ask is I watch fans from other schools and I almost feel embarrassed for them. It’s one thing to act a fool on a message board or in your inner circle.

Act normally and courteous.
You will see the same thing with Aggies, Alabama fans, Auburn fans and most ACC fans, along with others.

The real jerks tend to be Coots, Dawgs, NC State, Tennessee, LSU, etc….
The most arrogant are wearing Ivy League attire. Means the did really well in High School…..

Don’t know what you’re talking about but continue being an ###. I hope you don’t act like that in public wearing the paw.

If wearing a logo on your clothing causes you to behave "extra" anything, you probably have bigger problems than the people you're trying to indict.

You’re one of the fan bases I’m referring to. Do you bark at home in front of your parents or grandparents? Grown men barking at strangers is very strange.

I challenge you to get up and walk around your house and just bark. Do it and tell me that doesn’t feel stupid. Better yet go to the grocery store and start barking at the cashier.

Spud, I agree with you. I am not any different in my Clemson clothes, which I wear often, than in other clothes.

This is the correct answer.

Yep. I wear Clemson attire very often. It would be difficult if I had to stop and think about how I was supposed to act.

The paw makes me a bit cocky if you want to know the truth, but at the end of the day I enjoy wearing it and it makes no difference what anyone else thinks.

Case in point without bloodbeorange trolling me.

A couple weeks ago I went out for wings. Sat down at the bar ordered a beer and a dozen wings. A couple came in and sat next to me. I was wearing a Clemson ball cap and we started talking ball. The guy asked me a few questions about Dabo and our season then the conversation turned to the playoff. He started talking about Bama and I was courteous and said every time Saban is counted out he comes through yada, yada, yada.

At home or on here I would’ve said they pulled a rabbit out of their ### to beat Auburn and could’ve easily lost to USF. Went to pay my bill and he had already taken care of it. Looked over and he had a Bama sticker on the back of his phone.

Everything I could’ve said would’ve been true but I would’ve also looked like an ### in front of a complete stranger.

Button up shirt = like I’m late for a meeting but I’ll help you change that flat tire.

Collared polo and hat= like I’m going to hit this green from the T-box.

T-shirt and backwards hat = this is a joke; I’d never wear a backwards hat. But t-shirt me would be buying a round for the bar.

Orange overalls = like a UGA fan
