Lots of talk lately about what Clemson needs to do to host a regional.

But I think the committee will need to take into account the dominance by the ACC and SEC of college baseball this year. They want the minimum number of teams between South and North Carolina to host, but teams in this region and in the south close to us are the ones that should host this year. Because of schedule strength and level of competition. If that how it is in other sports then it will be and should be for college baseball.

If for some reason there’s 4 teams (Clemson, Coastal, Duke, USUCK) who are in contention, they should all host. Even NC State who is top-20 RPI. And if they must leave 1 out, then leave the dirty chickens out.

I agree it shouldn't matter about the geographical location of the schools. The best teams should host. End of story.

And I hope that includes the tigers assuming they take care of business the next two weekends.
