Hard to overcome all the pitching injuries before the season, and Darden going out didn't help. Hopefully he gets another legit starter from the portal this year.

Was a big problem last year also , should have been fixed in offseason . Don’t
Start with the injury excuse because the guys that have come back like Samol and gillen don’t look the part.

If we need 3 starters, then we should have no less than 4 preferably 5. But we need a few guys that can hit with absolute power!!! Fly balls hit deep can move base runners...

Hopefully the portal can help to fix the pitching, and we need 2 or 3 heavy hitters/sluggers that can hit the long ball with power. If we can add those two things to our team I think Bakich can take us to the championship game and win it all...

anyone think that if we had moeller, bennett, bell and gillen the staff would be a little better. bell is ramping up, gillen is coming back. now darden is hurt. samol has not made it back to where they thought he would be. maybe some of you should do a little research before typing stupid sh!t. plus there will be new freshman coming in. but yes chances are we will hit the portal. i am looking more for bats than pitching.

Should've already been fixed. At the end of last season Bakich knew pitching was going to be the #1 weakness for this team and he did nothing to shore it up
