This is a dumb thread even for t-net and that is saying something. UGA already has all of our plays by watching film from the last eight years. On any given play call there are a bunch of variables such as a stunt, blitz or coverage options so a playbook is a non factor. The game will come down to game plan, execution, winning the LOS and players making plays as it always does

The bigger questions ...

1. Can he bench press 305 pounds? 2. Does he wear a Clemson shirt on alternating days while playing golf? 3. Does he demand respect?

I don’t wish ill for him but how is it fair a player can leave a team the way he did and immediately play for an upcoming opponent with the knowledge of all our offensive and defensive schemes?

You are assuming he has said knowledge..

If so he has been hiding that fact for a couple of years now.

I hear your point, especially for how important THIS game will be, but the argument is nobody should be prevented from transferring outright; it's a challenge to deal with, but not worth taking away a player's right to choose where to go.
Not saying I agree with it (ex., not playing a player against his former school doesn't stop him from going to another school for both sports & education), but that's the argument for it & now more than ever.

to the school that we just HAPPEN to be playing first on this years schedule.
I'm sure this fact was NEVER highlighted by the Georgia coaches during his portal potty recruitment.
And, oh, by the way, if he just happens to bring a Clemson defensive playbook along with him, they would burn it without looking at it. RIIIIIIGHT.

If Kirby figured out that DK has Clemson's defensive playbook, and you figured out DK has Clemson's defensive playbook, you think Dabo knows?

Kid is a hell of an athlete and is undeniably a smart pickup for UGA. Not much risk here. If he gets his act together, great. If not, he’ll be gone.
I would think I’m a situation like this we would have better insight on what types of routes he does better on and so forth, versus whatever playbook intel he can share, but ultimately I think that angle is overrated.

Wasn't that the same thing we were upset at Alabama for saying when Kirby Smart did exactly that?
I hear you, but coaches have been able to do it & now players are finally getting many of the same rights.
We gotta figure out what to do in spite of it, & if anyone can it's Coach Swinney, IMO.

Why wouldn’t Georgia already know our offensive/defensive schemes? We’ve had the same schemes for several years now. None of us are coaches on here and we all know our schemes. With an exception of maybe 1 or 2 new wrinkles thrown in, neither team is likely to run a play the other team didn’t see on film at some point.

If DK were an asset, he would still be on the team. Time for the Tiger receivers to eat.

I don't like to disparage young players, but I sure grew weary of his antics on the sidelines: helmet throwing; stomping; yelling; and arguing with both players and coaches. Those types of behaviors were indicators of poor decisions, only highlighted with his arrest. Sadly, I say good riddance.

Witness. I was two rows behind the Clemson bench for the BC game. He let up the game’s first TD pass and a few other big gains.
Definitely exhibited some bratty behavior that was noticeable from the stands. Granted, that was an awfully frustrating game, but you rarely see our guys barking at each other on the sidelines.

I think part of the problem is we don't have that enough. Bigger games would maybe bring out emotion. Instead it feels like we're not prepared to have that emotional edge for the big games in the playoffs.
Wilkins did it. He was great at it. I don't think it's a coincidence he was a champion, know what I mean? Not anger, but channeling that angry energy out and into something else. It feels like we kinda stopped doing much of anything after the butt-grabbing stuff against Ohio State years ago.
First-world problem stuff, I'm sure---I don't mean to complain, it just often feels like the military out there than a game & I'm probably just talking too much.

Dabo removed him because he had continually broken the rules. Dabo is pulling for him to grow up & become the best man he can be. When it hurts you & your team to discipline, it’s because you love them that you let them go after being in the love shack.
I pray he gets it together but we will still spank the puppies too!
