The spokesperson added Stanford's flight was rescheduled for Friday morning and will depart from San Francisco International Airport. According to flight records, it will leave around 1:15 p.m. ET and arrive around 5:48 p.m., which is a little over 24 hours before kickoff against No. 15 Clemson (2-1, 1-0) on Saturday (7 p.m., ESPN) at Memorial Stadium.

Conditions improving dramatically in the coming hours
By the time Stanford lands tonight at GSP, winds will be 12 mph. So flying will not be an issue.
Any and all roads that are blocked in and around Clemson will be cleared later today.
The only reason I said 90% instead of 100% is a memory of FSU using COVID as a reason to quit before we played. Not knowing Stanford leadership's character, they may say "thanks but no thanks" and use storm as reason not to come.

Brett, there are Thousands of Trees down throughout the State of SC with well over a Million with no Power. It may be a Safety Issue.

If Stanford gets on the plane, I'm thinking the game will be played.

Hearing some things from folks I know that are more in the know than me that something may be changing with the game. Not sure what that means but I wouldn't be surprised if the game is postponed.

a chance to do a normal walk-thru of DV as is customary to check out grounds, get acclimated to sight lines for QB & WR'ers, etc..
And check out the menacing HiLL..

a slip in slide for the Hill entrance. Much safer than running down it.
Stanford will be ok. Same dimensions as all other fields. They will cope fine. They could have come in earlier and gotten ahead of it yesterday.

For the fans, it means the game will be played.
For the residents who couldn't care less about the game it means the infrastructure wasn't damaged too much to pull the game off and the state of SC deems the area is safe.
