Heck. Just shoot very bad and not super dreadful and its a win. No excuse for that especially at home.

We continue to struggle with FT's season after season. Last year was better but they still missed the clutch FT's they needed to win big games, like Duke in the ACC tourney. You know that they practice free throw shooting so I'm not sure what the problem is or why our teams just cannot seem to be able to shoot from the line. And it's not a coach BB problem, they've been bad at the line as long as I can remember.

Every player on the team should have to shoot 80 out of a 100 to leave; if not, 75 out of a 100; 70 out of 100 and so forth... They can go home after 500 tries... They should have to hit 50 out of 100 to practice the next day. There's a motivation factor and basic muscle memory, but there's no excuse other than lack of concentration or just plain poor mechanics. They're FREE throws.

the premise that the ultimate goal in BBall is to put the ball in that thing we call a basket.
If consistently unable to do so, then this old brain thinks the problem is lack of technique. Therefore, practice technique over and over and over and over...ad nauseam...until you can hit the rim.
All method of play in the world won't amount to a hill of beans, if you can't make the baskets...a heck of a lot of more times than not.

My pet peeve and we seem to have solved it till this year. This group has good games with it and bad ones. Last night everyone was awful
