It is not actually a yawn, this is a good thing. DO it legally then fine not running willy nilly across the border. I applaud stopping the incoming flow, catch and release without vetting was stupid on all accounts.

I am for a secure border, but it doesn't change my life in any way. It's not exciting

What's so cultist about protecting a nations borders? Your default counter in debate is calling people cult members. That's for little kids. So answer the question. What good is government if it cannot protect its borders and citizens? Ask the Roman's or the salons, or even the dreaded Russians. Your a fool to think this is a bad thing unless you relish chaos and crime. Do you? No country inthe history of nation states can survive if it does not protect its culture, society in general, and it's citizenry.

What are you rambling about? Nobody said anything was cultist about protecting the border. I am for protecting the border. Calling people cult members is accurate with MAGA. Your post is gibberish.

Glad to hear your for Trump's border policy. Makes sense to have a safe and secure populace. You are not a functioning government with them. I was referring to you calling people that have agreements with Trump as cult members. So I am not sure him highlighting the absolute abysmal behavior and policies concerning the border from the far left of the democratic party makes him a cult member.

I support Trump on the border. That's not why I called him a cult member. He is a cult member.

Illegal border crossings at a historical low DESPITE no passage of Biden’s ‘border security’ bill? Trump using Exeuutive Orders to nearly stop illegals immigration AFTER Biden’s handlers said that could not be done?
Your post sniffs of Russia Disinformation.
That is all.

And it took about a week to shut down the border. Not weeks, not months, not years. Unfortunately the left left wing politician who gets elected will return to the previous status quo as soon as possible to the cheers of left wing trash everywhere.

An unequivocal win for Trump's administration, and I think for the country.

And a huge black eye for President Biden.
I remember when Biden put Harris in charge of the border, and they spoke about heading down to Latin American countries to better understand the root cause of the issue. I was hopeful about that. I thought it was the right thing to do...not in lieu of border security but as a partner of other Western Hemisphere countries and to support long term solutions. That was back when I had Kamala Harris in the "Not fit to be President" bucket but not in the "couldn't find her way out of a wet paper bag" level of respect. Of course, nothing came of the initiative (well...nothing good).
I look forward to the day when Trump is out of office. Whoever the next President is, I hope our border security remains strong. Republicans will almost certainly continue the rhetoric. Democrats must see that their approach to the border has been an awful one, both in effectiveness and in public support. They can't play the "I need this or that" card anymore.

to support the easing of root cause issues. Just that they said it was what they were going to do, then nothing.

We gave Mexico 5 billion to invest there that was supposedly going to help fight the root cause. The talks were generally that they needed money invested there so the people don't want to come here.

I guess that is fair as a lot of folks did not believe anything from the Biden Administration either. Was it the Biden admisitraion though really, you saw him he was not running the country. He was a puppet on a string, letting him on TV was like playing Russian Roulette with a full cylinder

A country that has no control over its borders will cease to remain a sovereign nation. That bum rushing across the border needed stopped, catch and release was a joke.
DO it right, legally or stay the puck home.
Brass tacks on this is if their countries suck so bad maybe they need to stay and fight for change there instead of running to the big PX in the sky.

Trump has done a lot that I'm not a fan of, but he gets a solid A from me on securing the border. This was the first step, to stop the bleeding.
The hard work of bringing in legally the people we will need to do certain jobs and keep our population from dwindling remains to be done, but I give the man credit for closing down what was a joke of a "secure border" per Alejandro Mayorkas, the most boring bullshidder in recent memory.

Trump has not only shut off illegal immigration, he has ended all immigration, even people who normally just want to come here for a vacation or to study. He may even spark emigration. >>
It's quite an achievement to be so repulsive and disgusting that no one in the democratic world wants anything to do with you or the society you are creating.
