North Carolina Highway 100 is a 12.1 mile state highway that runs from the west end at US at US 70 in Whitsett to the east end at NC 49/NC 54 in Burlington, passing through Gibsonville and by Elon on the way. Elon University is in Elon.

Centennial Boulevard in Clemson, South Carolina is an approximately one mile road that starts on the north end at SC Highway 93 across from the Esso Club and travels to the south end at Perimeter Road. It passes the intramural fields on the left going south which is Lot 2 during games and Littlejohn Coliseum on the right after Ravanel Road. After the Avenue of Champions, it passes Death Valley on the left and lot 5 on the right with Tiger Walk. It then passes Press Road, Lot 6 on the right and Woodland Cemetery on the left, and Nu Street just before Perimeter Road. Clemson campus also has the Centennial Oak tree behind Newman Hall which is the largest Bur Oak in South Carolina. The huge oak was named during the centennial year in 1989 since it was thought to be a sapling when Fort Hill became Clemson University.

100 - (Fittingly) Dabos 100th Win Came Against the Chickens

Somehow, it just seems fitting that Dabo gained his 100th win against the Gamechickens. And, in Columbia no less. And against Muschamp’s best team in Columbia as the Chickens were 8-3 and ranked #24. And, the season after the Chicken QB swore “Never Again!”

Somehow it all just seems right!

In November 2017 Clemson defeated the Chickens 34-10 in Dabo’s 100th victory. According to WIS TV:

“A year ago, the Gamecocks said they'd "never again" take a beating from Clemson like the 56-7 drumming that was handed down.

But the old saying, "Never say never" firmly applies here. Kelly Bryant's 272 passing yards and Hunter Renfrow's two touchdown catches along with Clemson's stifling defense helped the Tigers come away with a 34-10 win over South Carolina for Dabo Swinney's 100th career win.”

By the end of the 3rd Quarter, apparently most (if not all) of the fans in the stadium were wearing orange. The Independent Mail was providing live updates. Here is the end of 3rd Quarter update:

THIRD QUARTER - CLEMSON 34, SOUTH CAROLINA 0

0:00 - This game is probably a lot of fun for Clemson fans to watch, but they might be the only fans left here at Williams-Brice. Travis Etienne scored his 12th rushing touchdown of the season to put the Tigers up by five scores and it probably won't get any closer in the final frame.

After the game, Dabo’s comments included the following:

“I thought we controlled the game, good to see us throw and catch well. We threw it for more yards than they had total.”

“They had a couple of big penalties, told team to walk away and be disciplined. Was message throughout the week.”

“For my 100th win is something I’ll always remember. Win goes next to my name but credit goes to my players and staff.”
