they play Bama this year at home before losing to the later ranked #1 Clemson Tigers. They have never beat 2 #1s in one year and we know Bama will be ranked #1, as every other year until they lose. This year's excuse for Bama over Clemson is the old familiar how much Clemson lost on D.
Doubt they repeat their previous feat of knocking off #1 AL. This is Bama after a decade of Nick and Chump ain't Superior.

That would be the highpoint of their history. Unless you want to go with being the 1969 ACC Champs.
Other than that there's no other history to repeat unless he's talking about being suspended two times in his first spring on campus and ultimately being suspended a couple more before being kicked off the team in the middle of the year.

Well, you have to look at that year and remember that bama was in a rebuilding year. Yeah, they beat a #1 ranked team but bama ended as a 10-3 record and ranked #16.
That does matter and bama did have key players hurt when they played. Just saying.

Agreed. Beating Bama in 2010 was still a big deal, but it was completely different than beating Bama in any other year under Saban sans 2007.
