How is that stupid? Clemson was something like No. 15 before the Orange Bowl. WVU was outside of the top 20.

I'm not sure what this guy is getting at. Anyone that follows CFB knows N'western is a well coached team and has been on the rise for a few years now.
WVU was a good team, too, but it's asinine to think they're head and shoulders above N'western just because South Carolina is playing them.

Funny - I don't exactly remember silence from the Coots all those years we beat them. In fact, I think the sh*t talking from them may have been worse during the Holtz era than any other time I can remember.

maybe in the ranking but according to the CBS poll that ranks all 124 teams using BCS poll parameters, Clemson hasn't beaten a single team ranked above #50. We beat at least 5 teams that had wins better than that. Because of the weakness of Clemson's wins, we really don't know where they should be ranked, but clearly not in the top 25. Your entire ranking was based on what appeared to be a stellar offense. We proved that your offense is avg at best.

Your Orange Bowl, just like your program and your conference, was rendered a relic of what it once was.
THe icing was Clemson broke all of the wrong records in getting murdered by an average WVU team.

I don't really understand what you're getting at. We're finishing the season with 10 wins. We're finishing in the top 10. We can say we've beaten a couple teams in the top 25 this season. Assuming we do go up against Northwestern it would be a matchup of two ranked teams on New Years Day. I don't feel like anybody complained when we faced #22 Nebraska last year. With the division of bowl revenue we'll get about the same amount of money we would going to any other bowl. I'm not really sure what's so laughable about that season.
