Clemson College Republicans 🐅 @ClemsonCRs
"ENDORSEMENT: The Clemson College Republicans are honored to endorse Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States. President Trump will broker policies that put America FIRST! Clemson University alum @NikkiHaley will put America LAST"
This is AWESOME and I'm very proud to be a Clemson fan and supporter of Donald John Trump

are embracing that these days. "Based" that they don't chase "hoes" or that they are a traditional man.
They spin it like they have morals or don't want to waste their time but really it comes from more of a place of hating women.

Newsflash.
Bunch of 20 year olds conned by sleazy washed up real estate developer from New York.
This is embarrassing for Clemson, but it’s more embarrassing that X percent of adults across the United States still support the fat orange slob after he sent a mob to attack law-enforcement officers at the United States Capitol.
I’m just saying the campus Republicans are younger and a little more naïve and more subject to being the victim of a con.

They're just college kids expressing their political views. We don't have to agree with them--I certainly don't--but they haven't brought any humiliation on our university. This won't register a blip on anyone's radar outside of the school.
I know Trumpkins can't stand anyone who has a different opinion than them and they want those voices silenced, but those of us who oppose what he stands for have to be better and tolerant of opposing political viewpoints.

How telling it is in the world of Trump...

that a GOP can't simply endorse a candidate. No, they have to slam a primary opponent as "putting America LAST."
Reagan is rolling over in his grave.
Not to mention, Trump has never put the country ahead of his own political needs/ego. And he's for sure never put the party ahead of his own needs.
With all of that said...how in the world is Nikki Haley going to put American last? And if she is, why did Trump put her as the UN Ambassador? Wouldn't that be the last place you'd put someone that wants to put America last.

local campaign (handing out bumper stickers, putting out signs, etc...all grunt work). He's essentially the reason I took a liking to politics.

I keep running across "conservatives" who don't really know what that means. I have a good friend--I love him--who is younger and he likes to opine about liberals and the left. But when you press his ideology he's...
-Pro choice -Against complete free market and is fine with the federal government intervening -Pro drug freedom Among other things.
I tell him he's a northern conservative (he moved down here) but he's a liberal in the eyes of SC traditionalists.
What makes him think he's conservative? Trump. And guns and anti transgender. That's about it.
Trump created this hybrid group of, well, really people who leaned left but couldn't figure out where they belonged and hoodwinked them into thinking they're "conservative".

to so many in the GOP now (or who vote in the GOP primary) conservative is a personality and not a set of political ideals or beliefs.

Anyone who thinks Trump would beat Reagan and that Reagan was a bad president is a complete buffoon and has no business calling himself a conservative.

But his policies set down the road we are on now with massive deficits, the polarised cable news landscape, and the dismantling our anti-trust laws leading to , monopolies and corporate greed... I am not sure what was so great that came out of his administration other than Baby Boomers growing wealthy who then pulled the ladders of opportunity up behind him by cutting taxes and running deficits. I believe him a good man, but too naive to understand the full ramifications of the policies that came out of his administration. He was just an actor/spokesman to ram supply-side and trickle down economics down our throats which have only one logical conclusion, and that is the complete collapse of our economy.
