The problem is we are 3 days into spring practice and yes there are some changes in our program but why is this the front page on tigernet over a pivotal basketball win last night? Perhaps everyone complaining about our basketball team/coach in the past should start blaming the media. There’s not enough buy in and until then, we will have few expectations.

Very true. There is not a media outlet out there that covers basketball well. Seems like a huge missed opportunity.
I guess they know the best since they have to pay the bills. Maybe there are not enough fans to make covering basketball worth it monetarily?

Because like it or not, Clemson is a FOOTBALL School. Football has had success on the National Level, and has always been the main focus here. I think everyone wants the basketball teams, and every other sport to be successful here, but if Football isn't successful, you're talking major economic implications for the University. 85k seats trumps 9500 seats in the economic scheme of things. Not saying it's fair, just a reality.

I love that we are a football school. But you mean to tell me our new OC talking about what he‘s going to implement in our offense (which we’ve already heard) should take precedent over the win over NCSU last night? We lose that game we are out of the tourney picture. It is a huge deal and needs to be presented as such

I think they get listed chronologically - not sure. The basketball story came out immediately after the end of the game last night.

On my cell phone, the Basketball article is the 9th article on the mobile site front page down below several football articles, the latest lacrosse win, and Cagle’s perfect game from a couple days back. To me that does seem a bit out of order.

Nobody here is arguing that basketball pays the bills over football. Point being, basketball is still a pretty darn popular sport and in season and winning important games! Football is playing two hand touch and the friends and family hobbits back on punt return right now
