I was wondering the same thing, its not listed on the Clemson dining website. I'm pretty sure students could eat at the old one under shittler years ago (someone older than I correct me here), it just wasn't advertised.

No, they couldn't. We had different color meal cards with different magnetic strip info on the back. I'm talking mid 80's here.

Well, he is a know-it-all, so I guess it must be true. Honestly, I would have been more surprised if students could eat there. I guess there goes that chance of seeing a football player... At least I still have a shot at seeing them at work haha.

According to the current NCAA rules......

students are allowed to eat there for breakfast and lunch but the dinner time is reserved for the athletes. Technically the school can only reserve one meal per day right now. TCI said that the rules should be changing soon where it could be solely for the athletes.

I would hope the food is on a higher level for athletes in training. And supervised on that higher level. They couldn't afford to feed the student population on that level, or at least the students couldn't afford it. As someone famous once said, "We eat, sleep, and fight as team"... -- General PAWtton. GO TIGERS!!!
