What, really? Not here to gloat or talk trash. Best game I've seen in a few years. Thoroughly impressed by your team. Been following Sooner sports since '77. Willing to admit OU is a softball/ gymnastic school now until proven otherwise. I'm impressed that your coach has them in this position in four years. Your girls will get their chance again soon.

You’ll have to excuse the cult like mentality here on this board. It’s a “cool kids club” who yell coot to everyone who’s not a member. The small circle of daily posters on this site give the worst impression of Clemson fans. It’s mostly alumni with big bellys and old farts with no hair. The kind of men who wouldn’t say a word to a mouse in public but act tough behind closed doors.

Congrats to the sooners, amazing team watching them and knowing every pitch could easily be kncoked out of there. Proud of our ladies that we hung in there and made a game of it. Best of luck for the rest of the tournament, but I imagine not much will be needed

Thanks! Proud of where Rittman has this team headed. Need a little better batting when we have players in scoring position. We scored more than any other team on OU this year and had your gals on the ropes. You have some serious talent on the team. Maybe we can host Supers next year and not get paired with the juggernauts at their home fields like last few years in the regionals.
If I was betting man, I would put money on OU this year for sure.

Clemson fans should be very proud of their women's softball team. That is a heck of a team and I think was maybe the best team OU played all year. Up until this weekend the most hits any team had against OU's pitchers was 7 hits. Clemson had 8 hits both games. The most runs had been 4, Clemson got 7. Clemson was not a 16 seed, IMHO they should have been at least a 10 seed and should not have had to face the #1 seed in a Super Regional. And you certainly should not have been seeded below Bama. The committee seems to be infatuated with the Tide. I also believe that the committee has gotten tired of OU making it to the WCWS as frequently as they do so they put Clemson as a #16 seed hoping that you would make it to Norman. I think they were thinking that Clemson was the best chance for knocking off OU. Believe me I was personally aware that Clemson I believed had the firepower to stay with OU and possibly beat them. As you saw today they played OU head to toe and come within one strike of forcing a game 3, which I don't know who would have won if it had gone that far. Your university has really supported your fledgling program and you have a really great coaching staff. I have no doubts that Clemson will be in the WCWS soon. Hopefully you will get a better seeding that you deserve in the near future. I hope that OU will play Clemson more in the future also. These are two great programs that need to get together more. I think this series just proved that.

Thank you for being gracious Hosts!!! I have nothing but respect and admiration for your Program. Personally, I would love to play you every year, home and away . . . We’ll only get better by playing the best . . . and I think we showed that we can compete and we do belong in the “mix” of Nationally competitive teams.
