The thing I will always hate most about the sec is how they chant their conference. What a bunch of stupid coat tail riders. I hate it. There will never be a time when I chant ACC.

Exactly. We aren't there in Omaha, so I don't care. Also, we probably won't even be in the ACC in a few years.

Agree we won’t be in ACC. And I know the money is great but I would hate for Clemson to go to the sec.

The SEC will be different with Clemson, when you pop greatness in it spreads around making up for the cooties!

You guys just don't get it. It is more important for the conference to be strong than my individual team. What good is it if the SEC was so weak all Tennessee has is one big game? Win that one and a conference title is a sure thing. That should be familiar to you. That's no good. The conference must be strong. If we don't get that five star player to sign with us then we hope he signs with another SEC team to make the conference better. We fight like cats and dogs on game day but in the end we are all brothers. A rising tide raises all boats. It's us (the conference) against them. We pull together as one. That's what has made the SEC the best and the most competitive. If we spend 200 million on facilities upgrades then we want our other members to do the same. It's not riding coat tails. It's pulling for your brother members and being proud of our conference brotherhood. You see athletes and fans chanting "USA! USA!" during the olympics don't you? Well, that's how we feel about being in the South and being a member of the SEC. If Alabama or Georgia or any other school wins a title or a bowl game they're not chanting the name of their school are they? No. They are chanting "SEC! SEC!" because they are proud of being a member. It's all about being a member of the conference and wanting the conference to be the best.

Every game so for has been a walk off win. So all the ACC teams have been right there in the game. So they have could have easily been 2 & 1 except for a couple bad pitches & bad breaks. That the way it goes in baseball sometimes.

If your conference does well, it makes your team look better. No reason at all to not support your own conference.

I don’t think heartbreaking is the right word to describe a team I don’t pull for losing a baseball game. Perhaps disappointing is the best descriptor
