No no no, can't spot the ball. He needs to remind the D how to tackle, how to maintain gap integrity, how to find the right angle to run someone down, plus a couple more things I'm sure. I am happy for the off season, lots of work to do

That's what I say, spot the ball!!! I also want to say, how many time was I harping on here that Goodwin wasn't the right fit bc he wasn't going to be able to connect with our players bc he had no experience with on the field coaching and teaching. To be a good coach you must first be a good teacher and Wes had none of that experience in his resume and he was bound to fail and that is why I never understood that hire and I said it from day 1 with Goodwin to his last day as our DC. Don't get me wrong bc that was just as much Dabo's fault as anybody's bc Wes didn't and he couldn't have appointed himself the DC for Clemson FB, only Dabo could do that and as much as I still believe he is the right person as HC of Clemson, with Goodwin he allowed his personal feeling to get in the way and it hurt our FB program. None of us should ever forget that Dabo has done a lot more good for Clemson than he ever has that hurt Clemson, but it is a fact that Goodwin was a bad hire...

I believe we are a GREAT place to be and I suspect that Franklin is not gaining much respect after finally winning only ONE big game (over SMU) in however many years he has been there so YES, add in the daughters and grandkids and about 1.5 M additional salary over the next three years and I'd say he is in the right place at the right time!
Now, its time to go to work for coaches and players!

Coach Allen is ready to go! That dude is wound up tight, and will bring a new energy & dynamic to the D.
Wes probably worked well in cooperation with BV, but wasn’t ready to run the show. Maybe later, maybe some place smaller, but not here, not now.
Can’t wait to hear how things develop through the spring game.

He is gonna LOVE Clemson!
Did any of you read about his (Tom Allen's) "LEO" Project? It stands for "Love Each Other" and it is part of his coaching philosophy. Well, I've mentioned many times that Dabo Swinney was the first football coach at ANY level that I heard talk openly about "loving" his team and his players. "LOVE" was just not something that a rough and tumble football coach could put on the tip of his tongue and pull off in the sport of football. But guess what????? Dabo did it... and it caught on and if you wanna know why Tom Allen is going to LOVE Clemson, it is because he is a desciple of the Dabo Swinney school of how to build a great team.
"LOVE EACH OTHER"!
It works in life, too!
Just ask Jesus!
