Don’t worry. Not having Etienne won’t affect them much. Most definitely have 2-3 more that are pretty dang good.

I don’t think anyone outside of CKS’s circles knows that answer. I tried to find out what his blood/alcohol level was but could not find it.
(Note: I do not have a legal mind but these are my thoughts … with no real answer. )
Why were charges dropped … no one knows that exact answer either … and it makes this puzzle much more complicated.
1) IF (the biggest word in the English language is “if”) charges stood and he blew .08 or higher he would be suspended 10% (1 game) of the season.
2)Since he was under 21 (20 years old), GA has a charge called “DUI Less Safe” charge for any level over .02, of which he was charged. No idea how Georgia’s suspension policy addresses that charge.
So, with this being said “if” charges were not dropped he would be suspended for 1 games under scenario 1) and who knows under scenario 2).
Since the charge of “Less Safe” was dropped … who knows … and will not know until game time which is the way Kirby does it, if he can.

I for one want to beat UGA when they are at full strength so there are no excuses.
The final playoff poll in 2015 was #1 Clemson, #2 Bama, #3 Mich State, #4 Oklahoma. I wanted the Tigers to win but I wanted to win it by beating Bama. Beating any other team other than Bama from the SEC would not have carried the same weight. We would have the trophy, but for what it is worth the SEC people would have been quick to point out we didn't beat the SEC.
We may have lost in 2015, but that just made 2016 that much better.
I want my Tigers to get back to the playoffs as much as anyone, but I want to do it against the very best. I want the Tigers to beat a fully loaded UGA team because that is a win that our Tigers can build from for the rest of the season.
I do not want to hear it if we lose to UGA and beat all the ACC teams because that just adds fuel to the SEC fire. So let's shut the SEC up from the start of the season.

Rod Rob is out with Turf Toe so the likely scenario is Branson Robinson at RB1, followed by ETN and our true freshman Nate Frasier. Yes, Frasier has been that impressive. Do not despair, you will get our "Best!"

Bama beat us that same year and we were not at full strength. If Mak and Lawson have been playing I think we win. They were aided by injuries but they are still champions. I’ll take anything that can help us win the game. Not wishing injury on anyone, but if there are some players hurt and out or in trouble and out good.

I doubt Kirby would hold anybody out except for maybe rape or murder and that would be because the lawyers advised him to. Holtz was the same way at Cootville. He would only discipline anyone by making them sit out a play against Ball St.

Per Graham Coffey, staff at Dawgs Central:
"Just received word that Georgia will be without Trevor Etienne for the game against Clemson. I'm told the Bulldogs will deploy a trio of Branson Robinson, Nate Frazier and Cash Jones. This suspension is for Etienne's arrest on a DUI not safe charge earlier this spring. Etienne eventually pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge and the DUI charge was dropped. At the time of the arrest, Etienne admitted to drinking three beers earlier in the night. Police said he was going 80-90 MPH in a 50 MPH zone."

I either expected it to swept under a rug since it was in the Spring or say they held him out a practice or 2 for punishment lol. If they do somehow punish him for the opener, it won't be the whole game. Maybe a Qtr or a possession or 2. Basically, he just won't start.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Yes the charges have been dropped but he still got reckless driving and everyone knows it happened. There is a sentiment amongst dawg fans that something has to be done to send a message. And Kirby has said there may be suspensions but he’s not going to say for sure.
