Why not Penny Hardaway?

With all the success Brad's having recently, I'm pretty sure he'll get poached. I'm just looking ahead here...
Penny has proven that he can win at Clemson with about $1million less of a salary than Brad's. I'd imagine that Memphis' facilities and budget are inferior too. Just imagine what he could do at Clemson with Brad's salary, budget and facilities.

If Brad ever moves on He would be one of the first to consider. He beat us on his floor and ours the last two seasons with two of our better teams.

He is doing it because he loves Memphis and wants to give back to the city and university (his alma mater).

Ahhhh! It's the love of the game needed to win. Not higher salaries and better facilities?

Why in the world would he leave his hometown of Memphis where he went to High School, college and where he has coached for the last 10 years and lived for the past 40 years and go to Clemson......truly clueless folks here.

I guess you haven’t been paying attention. The Brad is the leader for the Indiana job.

Hatfield never pulled that ploy. That's a straight up Bowden move.

Even if there was going to be a vacant, Memphis has money like a lot of blue bloods and Penny is an all time great player there. That would never happen...

Yeah, outside of salary, Memphis likely holds it's own compared to Clemson in a lot of ways. It might be a lateral move at best for Penny currently.
For example, they have FedEx backing for NIL and they are almost top 25 all time in winning percentage. If we place Clemson besides Memphis in basketball history we get dunked on if we're being honest.
