But, star rankings don't translate into wins.
Maybe we to stop recruiting all these 4 and 5 stars and start recruiting guys who are awesome football players.

Talent will take you a long way. Talent with strong leadership will take you even further. I’m not sure right now IF the team is sold on el cinco as the guy who will take them to the top. I know I’m not,

Seems you and our spoiled fanbase dont realize is we try to recruit 4* & 5* players who are also awesome football players. The thing is sometimes it takes guys a year or two to become awesome as everyone is not always elite the moment they step on the field as freshman or sophomores. After you have followed the game a few years you should be able to pick up and understand the finer points of the game.

So it would be a great rivalry game that we start cultivating. I want Dino to be successful. He should be at FSU actually or Miami. A no nonsense kind of guy full of passion and football smarts. He just needs a better place to recruit players to.

Agreed, it is tough to recruit guys in snowy upstate NY, though the facilities are pretty darn good. Mostly get 3 stars from the tri state area
