That's pretty strong. Last time I was at the Gator VTech whipped our butts. A Hokie came up to me after the game and was a good winner, praising the loyalty of Tiger fans and aspiring for his team to one day have what we did. I tell you, he was a great ambassador, and I've been fonder of Hokies since then.

I would have cut off my right arm to play for Clemson. I was a 6ft option Qb and couldn’t get any looks because I was too short to play Qb. See Russel Wilson. However, I wasn’t him. Hahaha. I was a pretty good High School Qb. I would have made a great clip board Jesus! Hahahaha

Not the bowl game we wanted at the start of the season

But it's not on the west coast and is a bowl. We could be like the coots and be stuck at home already.

Clemson beat Oklahoma in the 1978 Citrus Bowl. In his post-game interview, he actually said that the Sooners hadn’t prepared the way they would have for a major bowl. The Orlando Sentinel had a field day with that - comparing it to Clemson’s earlier arrival, full practice schedule, and enthusiastic participation in bowl activities, including a visit to a children’s hospital. Even the manager of the Peabody Hotel (Clemson HQ) raved about the Clemson team and said those young men would be welcome anytime.
Leaving aside the fact that Jacksonville is a great bowl destination, a bowl trip means more practices and more game experience for this young team. There’s absolutely nothing “worthless” about it.

That was a defensive struggle from hades. One of the best exhibitions of defensive prowess I've ever seen.
For a team that didn't want to be there they sure got a lot of dirt on their jerseys.

I’d have to say you’re either a millennial or Gen Z member. Everyone hates grammar police. I have three degrees and can’t spell for crap. I know Mensa level double doctors who read like a high school freshman. It doesn’t diminish their intelligence or education level. Some people just don’t get or care about proper writing. I’ve seen a million posts on here use a comma where a semicolon should be. Who cares?

That would ruin our streak of consecutive bowl games.

The Gator has traditionally been very good to Clemson mostly because Clemson fans have patronized the Gator Bowl. We have a longstanding relationship with them. There was a time when the ACC agreement with the Gator Bowl allowed that bowl limited influence the selection of the ACC team. Clemson was always the Gator's first choice if the contract allowed.
Turning that game down would be like cutting off your nose to spite you face. Is your opinion based on your coots not playing in a bowl this season, trk1?

While reading the comments on this thread I have concluded that...

at least half of these people do not belong on Tigernet. They would do harm to our fans' reputation with the venom they are injecting to Clemson's #1 fan website.
Half of the posters on this thread have damnable attitudes which are offensive to gentlefolk.
Where are you
Crump®, B-Meist®, Francis Marion®?
Do something about these trolls.

With all the defections and knowing the fact that South Carolina beat Kentucky, Dabo has a tough job on his hands getting our players to want to be there.
