Not sold on either one being Top 10 yet. IMO, Both should start in the 11-15 range.

I want to see how SC defense looks. That D was the reason for about 4 wins last year. They lost a lot.

agree and we need to see our defense because they were trash last year. I am concerned about secondary because we were bad last year at times. seems like we committed pass interference on every passing down. Khalil Barnes also struggled last year so cant wait to see improvement. I am worried about depth on dfense especially at defensive end behind Heldt and Parker.

(nobody outside of South Carolina refers to the Gamecocks as "USC" or "Carolina". Real Clemson understand this fact.)

In all seriousness, if Clemson's defense resembles anything close to a Top 25 unit they have the look of a Top 5-10 type team.
South Carolina simply doesn't have the Jimmy's and Joe's. Clemson is significantly more talented across the board and has the luxury of not needing the play perfect to win.

Well I don't know about the coots being relevant.. and don't really care if they are, but Clemson is definitely a top 5 team this year.. we have the coaching and the talent, so don't shy away from the publicity, Clemson is for real this year...
