Will Ray Tanner fire Cusschamp after finishing no better than 5 - 7 in 2019 with a 6th consecutive loss to Clemson or will he wait until after the 2020 season when the team finishes no better than 5 - 7 with a 7th consecutive loss to Clemson?

Dabo was pleased with the scrimmage. That’s what you need to know. Brent Venables is a perfectionist and he doesn’t care if this is the best competition his defense will see all year. If there’s anything less than perfection he will complain. It’s one of the things that makes him so good at what he does. Now run back to your buddies at FGF and tell them our defense will be fine.

You are missing the point....let Brent worry about it so you don't have to even think about it...we are loaded with the best coaching staff in the country..Clemson takes three * players and makes 5* NFL 1st round draft picks...have no fear, the pond is stocked with lunkers and we are the only ones fishing right now!

I use to live next door to a SC high school coach - Harvey Stewart. He would come home in August and say that he needed to suit up the cheerleaders to have a decent team. Then would have either a state or quarter final championship team. In short, BV is never happy till the end of the year. Also, look at the offense that defense is playing against. They won't see a better one all year. Go Tigers.

is everything for these guys. They have talent. With reps, studying, and leadership training, their level of football maturity will rise quickly. Expect mistakes, but also expect those to diminish as the year moves along.

What you should be worried about is the fact that our 3rd string RB will instantly be light years better than anyone you got on your depth chart. “Why would that make you worried???” Because now the fact will sink in that every position 2-3 deep on our depth chart is better than your starters. Takes a lot of recruiting without all the decootments y’all get to fix that problem!

Losing so many top players from our D in one NFL Draft could be considered worrying. However, it's not as if we didn't know the Draft was coming. Therefore, I have every faith in our recruitment of new talent; and in the coaching that they receive, once they get to Clemson.
We'll be fine.

Coach Venables is a crafty guy. Did you see the similarities between Saturday's scrimmage and the National Championship game? He let the offense score a few times and then he put the brakes on. If our young D can stop our offense, Venables has no worries.
