Only contact on that PI was the TE slapping the DB's arm. Besides that,, the ball never made it to them. Already intercepted.

That was not interference and of course the dunce commentators agreed it was blatant PI. They said he did not turn around and look for the ball when he clearly did at the last minute. It does not matter if he turned to look or not. As long as he doesn't interfere with the receiver he does not have to turn around and look for the ball.
