Just realized you just said breweries. 13 Stripes is my personal favorite for beer. Southernside and yeehaw for atmosphere.

Golden Grove Farm and Brewery. In Piedmont. Owned by CU alumn. Usually live music playing and great beer and pizza.

Carolina Bauernhaus - best sour beers
Birds Fly South Ale Project
13 Stripes - I like their River Lodge on the west side on Old Easley Highway.

But the best local beer in the upstate is at Keowee Brewing Co in Seneca.

I live in Easley and don’t get to Seneca nearly enough but when I’m over there I always stop by KBC. If nothing else pick up a few crowlers to go.

Fire Forge is right behind YeeHaw. YeeHaw has a great ambiance but crappy beer in my open. Fire Forge has good beer.
Also check out Tetrad Brewing off stone. Maybe my favorite

Liability Brewing on Stone Ave has a good selection of basic and seasonal offerings. Also, they are next door to Mo's BBQ. You can bring Mo's food to the brewery or vice versa. Very pleasant place to hang out.
If you want to drive a few miles, Kite Hill Brewing is a fairly new entry located in Patrick Square off Isaqueena Trail just outside of Clemson.
Community Tap doesn't brew but they feature a great selection of beer from local brewers plus a few from Charleston and Asheville. They have two locations - one on Wade Hampton Blvd and the other is in the Commons next to the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
Good folks at all of these places

That area on the west side has a lot of options. Southernside is right across the pedestrian bridge from the Community Tap at the Commons. Birds Fly South and Carolina Bauernhaus are not far away either. There is also a Growlerhaus near there. Same idea as Community Tap. Not a brewery but good selections of craft beers.
There is a place in Easley called the Pint Station that is like the Community Tap. They have 20 taps and rotate a lot of good beers.
I haven’t been to Liability but have had a few of their beers at Pint Station that were good.
