Greatest ETN Touchdown?

I’m thinking the pitch play against OSU in the 2019 playoffs, the sheer determination on that play was unbelievable. Or the side line stutter step against Miami last year. Not quiet as big of a moment for Clemson but the subtlety of that stutter at that speed was a thing of beauty. Then again there was also the jump pass from TLaw to ETN against Ohio State, that would be on that short list.

What say you? Which ones am I forgetting?

That second one that gave us the lead I think by Etienne. Defender tried to Jersey tackle him and everything...but Etienne's combined speed...strength and determination was too much to prevent that score.

Too tough for me to pick the best, but this is my favorite as he shows quickness, elusiveness, and power. He just ran through contact into the endzone on the "mighty" Bama defense. This one never gets old for me.

As soon as I saw the title I thought of your first clip. Definitely not his flashiest play, but that’s the type I think isn’t being talked about enough for us missing this year. How many times last year did our offense stall out to third and long and we’d just throw it over to Travis to make something out of nothing? One of my favorites to wear the uniform.

For me, it was his 3rd quarter sprint through the ND defense in the Cotton Bowl. A thing of beauty and a play that started sending the leprechauns to the exits.

Bouncing off Carman against GT and then housing it. Louisville freshman year is also way up there.

So many great runs. I can’t find the one he broke against VT his freshman year and Herbie said “An embarrassment of riches!”
This is a good highlight real but that one is not in there.

The one against OSU when we were down 16-0

We were in dire straits at that point and the unbelievable effort on that TD helped stop the bleeding.

The greatest for me was in the 2019 Fiesta Bowl vs OSU in the 4th quarter. I just happen to be watching it now.

Not most important, but my favorite

Far from his most important touchdown, ETN's 81-yarder against Louisville his freshman season is still my favorite. From Kirk's "embarrassment of riches" statement to that ridiculous burst after contact… my eyes were big and I knew the future was very bright for this young man.

I liked ETN's last TD vs Syracuse in 2018

He had 203 yards and 3 TDs but the last one with 41 seconds remaining put us up 27-23 after being down 16-7 and 23-13 and after losing to them in 2017 and after all the QB drama and Chase Brice having to be the long reliever/closer. The game also had Xavier Thomas' monster sack on Eric Dungey with about a half minute left. The comeback win of course saved the undefeated 15-0 season.
