Yeah, he had like 5 3’s all season (sarcasm).
He was hurt, but that spot really could be used by a recruit or transfer.

We desperately needed him in several key games this last year. If healthy, I have no doubt we would have done well in NCAA Tournament

so he made 100%, ### difference does that make?
He's slow, playing short at 6'4" on the wing, and is a shooters not a scorer - in other words, he'll never put 20 up in single game.
And thennnnnn..... we get to the fact that he can't play defense worth a crap.
Th basic Clemson Basketball fan is a complete dumbazz - you wouldn't know a good basketball player from a celery stick.
The best wing we'll have next year is Wiggins, but he needs development, and big time in a hurry. Nice shot, but needs more game: rebounding, passing, press break, defense on the ball not just blocking shots from off the ball.
Might as well give Hemenway a whistle and let him ref. He adds nothing to our competitiveness, and teams like Duke and UVA eat him alive.
Should have gone to Seton Hall with Dawes. They're both decent mid-tier G5 types at best.
Brownlee likes him because he's from Indiana. Eff that.

What a ridiculous comparison.

What a stupid comparison. TO was a scorer who had a quick release and not afraid to take over a game. Had a winners mentality. Brad has not learned how to do situational substitutions and is slow to react if he does at all. He has some value, but Clemson sorely needs inside game as well or a hybrid. We have very few versatile “athletes” who can challenge a shot, rebound and score. When players have only one of those, it limits the team and becomes situational with not many minutes.

but hey, I'm waiting on you to "quote me" where I have lied or manipulated the facts. Have at it.
Better yet, ask BMeist and Grump if I am a scok. Again, have it. Ask them, publicly, and then watch them come back and publicly shame you.
I'm fed up with the trolls in the Clemson population. It's time to put some of you on the road....

Hemenway shouldn't get more than 10 minutes, if that.

I think he was actually leading the league. He wasn’t the same, and the team didn’t integrate him back in very well after he came back, but I wouldn’t throw him on the trash heap so soon.

I'm not ready to discard him either. But frankly, his returning is not going to get Clemson to the ACCT championship game, much less win it.

Piece of what? 8th place in the ACC? One and done in the NIT again? UVA puts us on their hip, and spanks us like babies again and again?
This is the problem - Brownlee gets the wrong pieces. He's been doing it in the backcourt since Reed and Shelton. What a waste.

he scored 3 points in 33 minutes and we got out-rebounded by 18.

1) Football won the ACC. Basketball did not. 2) Football finished the season ranked in the top 15 teams in the entire country. Basketball did not. 3) Football was invited to a major bowl. Basketball was invited to the NIT. 4) Football made changes. Basketball did not.

why did NC State get an NCAA bid even though we beat them 3 times?
oh, yeah, please pull out the old Clemson Basketball BS of "the ACC cheats us". Y'all been saying that crap since the 1960's.
Those teams went to the NCAA because they played a better schedule.
The average SOS for an ACC team was 5.63.
State's was 5.6, and Pitt's was 5.2 .
Clemson's was 3.7.
You're just a liar, JK. That's all.

With our weak schedule inside and outside the ACC, winning 23 games was a failure. It should have been at least 27. There should have been no chance to miss the Big Boy tournament. And we certainly should never lose as a number 1 seed in the NIT at home. You never seem to mention the losses to terrible teams as you crow about 23 wins.

After all, he was hurt/sick most of the season and the lad can shoot the ball ! If he and if PJ returns (almost guarantee he will), we will have plenty of potential for many balls going through the basket
WILDCARD ! Will Coach B LET THEM reach their full potential ? Or he is he going to continue to bog down them and the team with his "Church League" approach to basketball ... boring, unimaginative, predictable and last but not least, impotent.
