Some of us watch both. Anyone not watching softball is missing out on seeing an elite team play.

Haven't watched a single baseball game this season. But admittedly, I probably would have if we were better.

Softball just isn't on my "to do" list though. Apples to Oranges IMOP.

I havent given up on them. I would expect any team in the first year to have some bumps. I dont think its good to criticize the starting point... just look for improvement. If things get better as the year goes on then we start at a better, more complete, level next season.. that is progress and what you hope for with a new coach.
Monte started hot with the ACC title but never had a team that went on a real upswing... 2020 may have been his year and I hate he didnt get to finish that season but it is what it is.
Im excited to see what Coach B does over the next few seasons.
