I think the biggest hurdle he has to cross is the decision to not let TL sit out the next two years and prepare for the draft. We have never had a guy taken #1 overall, and it would do wonders for our program. Something like that could take us to an elite level, with the likes of Alabama, Ohio St., Oklahoma, and Michigan.
If something happens the next two years, and TL doesn't go #1, Dabo may look back and wish he had done things differently. You only get so many chances to climb into that elite status, and I hope ours doesn't pass us by. We've waited too long.

TL16 is a true competitor just like DW4. Dabo couldn't sit him on the bench if there was an erupting volcano on the field.

Dabo cares deeply for his players and if there was an erupting volcano on the field he would rush them to safety. To suggest otherwise is ignorant in my opinion.

But if the volcano was erupting east of the stadium I think we’d continue to play (I don’t mean like erupting at the shoebox dorms, idjits; I’m talking more like way over by the high rises or maybe the library). Most of the ash would be blown to the east, and the magma wouldn’t reach the stadium till the game was over.
That said, I would expect our players to pull their headbands down over the faces to help ameliorate the effects of the poison gases released during the eruption.

Uh, they make the players run into the locker room now if the ref has an inclination that there is a threat of a lightning strike within a 100 mile radius. I suspect that Dabo would not be given the option to continue playing in your volcano scenario.
