the two greatest Americans that have ever lived and ever is a really long time.

My father and much of my family attended the great institution that is Clemson University.

and we have Washington and Lee alumni (VT and UVA, too) kin.

Years ago, an Aunt, who lived in Lexington, took us to see that fine institution, including the Lee Chapel. For many years I swore I saw Lee's horse, Traveler, on display. Now, I'm not so sure. I think it was in the mid to late 50's.
