The wet field could have put the blockers on skates.

Incredible efforts by MIA #21. Took it on himself to make the blocks and made them.

The first and third FG was on K.J. Henry. He was the last

on the right side of our OL. He had two Miami players on the edge outside of him, but KJ blocked the furthest player on the outside, and let #21 blow right by him for the FG blocks.

Longer FG tries = added time and lower trajectory

Still, it appeared Miami spotted something about our protection. The coaches will correct it hopefully. Potter is a terrific weapon, but not unless he can get the kick airborne.

That was my view as well, the right edge of our line got rolled and their 21 played is ### off.

That’s a pretty harsh take after a 42-17 win.
Go back and look at the hole they opened for ETN on his 80 yard TD. It was perfection.
Miami had a stout DL, but it’s hard to say they “dominated” our OL.

Domination might be too strong but they whipped our OL

pretty good all night long. Our successful runs were mainly scheme rather than just winning up front.

night long but don't think we were dominated? I can only lead you to water, if you want to die of thirst at the river's edge, that's on you

I don't quite understand you saying they dominated our OL when Clemson put up 550 yards total offense. 292 passing and 258 rushing. Sure, they made some plays on us with their DL. Hey, Miami is especially good up front. But, they did not dominate. If they did, and gave up 550 yards we'll just have to live with that.
I can hear it now, "those came on a few big runs" or "swing passes lead to all the passing yards! LOL, it should have been a worse beating if Ladson had caught a clear TD. Why didn't that dominant DL get to our QB on that pass? Perhaps we used their aggressiveness against them. Perhaps running it against them was just to set up other plays! 550 yards of offense suggest that is exactly what happened.

The only play we could consistently block WAS that counter,

go back and watch the game again, their DL was blowing us off the ball, in the backfield all game and harassing Trevor to the point where we didn't have time to throw past the LOS on most dropbacks

I hope there are a few opportunities next week to see if things have been or are being corrected. I really hope the blocks don’t mess with BT’s head or question his trust in his teammates.
