I forgot to mention that Austin Bryant will be joining Wilkins, Watkins, Pagano and incoming folks. As I recall, Austin filled in admirably for Shaq in the Oklahoma game. The Tigers will be just fine.

At last, some good news on the defensive front! Watkins, Wilkins, Pagano, and some big freshmen coming in. Now, lets hope they can shore up the lbs and dbs. Specialty teams need big time help. On the offense- the Tigers will roar!!!!!!!!!!

I hope I'm right when I say we have learned our lesson this year on special teams. I have cringed every time we have punted or kicked off where there was a return. There is no good reason for that, either.

So we technically have 4 returning starters. Hopefully he has a full recovery and can get his reps in the spring to get back in shape. Fields/Baker are solid on the other side of CB. Jadar Johnson, maybe wiggins at other safety spot and D Odaniel in the nickel spot. LB will be much improved (not taking anything away from Goodson as he was a BOSS, just better depth overall to spell the starters without missing a beat). We might as well put 8 DT out there cause they are by far our best group. BV will have them ready to go.

But he did not look like his Freshman self this year. The burst was simply not there after 2 ACL repairs.
I hope Wiggins comes back in better shape than Blanks.
