Instead of football. You get the same Clemson experience without all the hassle of parking. You can eat in any restaurant you like. When LJ is rocking inside it's just as loud as the Valley being indoors. Football only fans have no clue of what you are missing with much less hassle. And no weather issues cold. hot etc.

I agree and did for years but I confess basketball is great now w/o the hassles of football. I just watch FB on TV.

Basketball games are awesome. Agreed.
Same Clemson experience? Not even close.
Just as loud as the Valley? Not even close.
You can promote the basketball experience without gross exaggerations.

Depends on the game. Kentucky earlier this year was just as electric as football.

Thanks Bluejay. Well stated on the exaggeration.
For some reason this bball season seems to have turned into a posting peeing contest on which is better. Obviously most of us are following the team and proud of what we have accomplished to date. But posters complaining there's not enough coverage, comparing it to football etc is not necessary. I'm all for coverage on ALL sports.
Nothing against bball, but there's been tons more football news this off-season than usual. It commands the full coverage.

CU bball "fans" don't know how or when or for how long to cheer. Duke student section is the best bball cheering example. CU is a football school and always will be. The fans cheer out of raw emotion. Not the same at any other sport. Dont talk to me about walking. My 73 year old father and I walk from the greenhouses and it's no problem. It's fun. Go Tigers. April 5 is almost here.

They don’t “have to be handed instructions”.
They plan very clever and impactful cheers/chants/taunts each game. That’s what they communicate. It’s awesome. “Who’s your daddy? Battier!” still rings in my ears.

Yes, I'm sure that it's fun but bc it is Clemson sports, nothing that goes on in sports at Clemson will ever top FB in the Valley, now that I've said that I can't take it back bc FB in the Valley is just awesome especially knowing that we win most of our games in the Valley...
