Give me a break!

The best team ever was stifled, in large part due to the 2nd-rated secondary in the ACC? Is that why the Coots were shut out? Sheesh!

It's not the pre-season rankings that matter! It's those post-season awards that matter more.

In other words, "it's not where you start; but where you finish"!

I think between: Kendrick/Terrell or Jones/Booth we will eventually have the best CB's in the nation let alone the ACC. That was an orange colored statement sure! But, not out of the question from a stand point of talent and potential based on this group of players star rating coming in.

I can't claim to know other teams CB's; but I know these dudes are all very much studs!

Last year I believe we had the best duo. Idk about it this year. We just are not proven on one side. Hopefully one of them can be as good as Mullen but that would take something special.

UVa's secondary is among the best in the country

So is Clemson's. I don't think it's insulting at all to say that Clemson is behind UVa's secondary.

Our CB’s are studs

Our safeties together don’t grade as high as Va but that’s not considering our new additions who could have a big impact

Ain't nobody "lockin' down" our receivers this year.***

Nothing to worry about here

Being ranked 2nd to start the year isn't all that bad. We do have to fill a few spots left open by graduation and such. However, the young, ultra-talented guys replacing them get to go against the best top-to-bottom receiving core in the nation every day in practice. Iron sharpens iron. By mid-season they will be right there with the best DB units in the nation, let alone the ACC.

I think a lot of this ranking has to do with Kendrick moving from offense to defense. By mid-year it will be obvious who has the best secondary in the ACC and possibly in the nation.
