Yes he would be good. Also the guy he succeeded at Furman who started building the program. Niko Medved now doing a great job at Colorado State.

U sound stupid . Bob has beaten nova @nova he beat Louisville this year he beat Loyola Chicago the year after there final 4 they started off 17-0 2 season ago #### tbh

With furman it’s unbelievable how good he is. I have concerns abt the style of defense he runs and how it will translate to a bigger school but his offense is legit

He can’t even win the socon. Different type players at furman. He can recruit sc high school players at furman. Usually the best players in sc leave and go out of state.

Yeah, recruits have heard of Richey. If we are going to fire our coach, write a check and hire a big name because that is the only chance we will ever have to win at a school that has never won.

I know him and knew his father(recently passed away). My granddaughter went to his basketball camp many years ago and he played high school BB with my nephew. Good person and coach!

If you're going to fire the coach, you better make sure there is no mass exodus of players and the recruiting class next year. I am not saying change is not needed, but if Hall and a few others leave, we'll find ourselves really hurting with nothing to build around. It would take a new coach a few years to recover from that.

I agree we can’t lose key players but I will take 2 or 3 years of struggle with someone new and who I believe in over the next 3 years if we keep brad

I would absolutely say that, or they would not be at Clemson. Players establish relationships with the coaches during the recruiting process. It's a slippery slope to go down now with the way the portal works, and the player not having to sit a year when transferring.

Richey is a good coach but still hasn't won in the SoCon and got to the NCAAT yet. I would think he is not going to be a huge power 6 conference candidate until he does that. He might have to take a bigger job at another good mid major job first, like Movat now at Colorado State. They are probably making the NCAAT this season as an at-Large team. The Mountain West is having a great season.

Not saying Ritchey couldn’t be “that guy”, but it’s too simplistic to just look at what he’s doing at Furman and assume he’s ready for the ACC at Clemson.
He might be, but it’s a huge gamble to hire him IMHO.

They’ve lost their last two games against UNCG and East Tenn State. I watched part of the ETSU game and they were not at all impressive. Admittedly, I don’t follow them so I may have caught them on a bad night.
