Has Penn State beaten anybody with a winning record? They have no business in the top 20, but they are at 11th to give ammo to OSU and Michigan's SOS.

PSU beat Purdue, Md, and Minnesota. All those teams have winning records. Those might not be the best teams but Purdue is likely to win the B1G west, Md almost beat Michigan and Ohio State, and Mn has a chance to be 8-4. Also, PSU beat Auburn by 29 on the road. I would think Alabama will win by less than that at home.

If ND beats usc and Clemson beats the chickens bad then it would be a move in the right direction.
It’s going to be hard to overcome the ND loss.

Look, there is no correct answer to how a Committee will vote, it is not a math test. If the Committee has voted for Michigan all year some will continue to vote for them because they are Michigan. There will be 4 happy teams and fan bases and about 4 or 5 really unhappy teams and fan bases. It happens every year because after all, this is just another election where people vote.

Relax. Clemson wins out and Michigan loses, Clemson’s in over Michigan. Clemson’s challenge is USC and TCU. One or both have to lose.

If we hadn't crapped the bed against ND we would be sitting 3-4 right now and it wouldn't matter. Its our fault we aren't going to the playoffs, not anyone else's.

I can remember a time when the AP crowned the National champs. It was always Mitch, bucknuts, USC, UCLA, Bama .etc. if you didn’t play in one of their closed bowls…. Tough luck. Appears we are going back to that
