Our official orange color in print is PMS 165.

Which PMS apparently means “..The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is a standardized color system that provides a way for designers and manufacturers to communicate and reproduce colors accurately, ensuring consistency across different mediums and locations. It's a global language for understanding and matching colors, allowing for precise color specification and reproduction. “

So that name is the official name of our color orange in print. Kinda interesting to me. Ok bye.

Looks nothing like the actual color of the rock itself

That might just be the color they use to color the rock in print. Like if you get a Howard’s rock T-shirt, that may be the color of the rock? idk I’m just guessing here.

I don't see Brad's lavender on the Brand Standards. Where did he get that crappy pullover color?

A Google search produced:

The Clemson Tigers' PMS (Pantone Matching System) color codes are PMS 1595 C for Clemson Orange and PMS 268 C for Regalia (purple). These are the official brand colors used for the Clemson Tigers and Clemson University.

I do remember seeing years ago that the numbers were followed with a "C" for Clemson.

Apparently the “uncoated” one is 1595 C. While the “coated” one is 165 C.
