I don't think it is either. Just anger that they have to build something similar due to the alumni assumption that it is needed to compete in recruiting.

That’s the 2nd or 3rd time I have heard something from another coach or AD talking about the slide lol. Man it’s something when you build something so awesome others keep bringing it up. Clemson is the standard! Get the slide or get left behind!
