for regressing in a job that he probably wasn't 100% sure of taking on in the first place.
Like Moses, he brought SCAR to the river (well they could see it off in the distance anyway) but he will never get them across and he knows it.
If he quits now, his image and his legendary status remain intact. If he hangs around a few more years, they will be shot.

Rumor is, Clowney is coming out of retirement to take over their storied program. There's a noon presser where Spurrier is expected to hand over the reins to their biggest success, Jadaveon Clowney. Clowney is expected to pass offensive coordinator duties to his brother, Bizmo Funyuns, while his other brother, D'Pez Poopsie will head up the offense. Being that this week is a bye week, Clowney will take over duties immediately; the transition is hoping to go seemlessly.

I hope he does not come back because he has our number. You all act like we have been handling them recently. it doesnt matter if they are 0-10, if they beat us then all this jesting and joking looks even more ridiculous.
Some of you all act as if someone wouldnt want an SEC HC coaching job even if it is in the armpit of the state.
Let's win a #### game before we start acting like morons.
They have lost stupidly this year, but also have some decent wins including UGA which demolished us.
Some of this sarcasm smells of defence mechanism. lets just hope whoever they eventually get is a moron.

I am a fan of college football, not just clemson. you want to go on acting like beating the coots is a big deal go ahead.
I say bring on the best and see where we really are. acknowledging them as a great win is validating them.
whether we like it or not we have lost 5 straight. this is as stupid as acting as if beating the atlanta braves is some great win for the new york yankees. they are nothing and will remain nothing until they win something.
beating us is not an sec title or anything else.
winning it all will shut the coots up. we have beaten uga, lsu, auburn, osu, and still no respect.
win it all baby, that will make em see whats up, not beating a loser.

Unless he's getting his info from Ramona,...Walt has zero sources in Cola. (Or in Clemson) He's a self proclaimed sports genius, and that's a fair self assessment. But he gathers information by watching tv. (and I mean a LOT of TV. I've heard he watches up to 10 hrs of sports a day) But, he doesn't get info from sources.
