Freshman RHP on the mound today

Clemson confirmed that freshman right-hander Jay Dill will make the start today at No. 23 Wake Forest (4:30 pm), marking the first change in the pitchers of the weekend rotation this season. He has a 3.60 ERA in 17 appearances this season.

The Tigers took game one last night, 1-0, with a shutout effort from Mack Anglin and Geoffrey Gilbert.

Kid is a stud. Expect a very big game from him today. Sometimes those gritty 1-0 games can give teams a ton of momentum.

back in the heyday of Clemson pitching. Don't see many 1-0 games anymore, at ANY level. Those kinds of games definitely make TUMS sales increase.
