Yes he is a great defensive player. He is not a good batter though. We have 40 games of evidence. As i'm posting this he strikes out. We need batters today. Paino can play shortstop too.

There are 2 positions on the field you trade offensive productivity for defensive. Shortstop and centerfield. If you think any coach in America puts an offensive guy in over a defensive guy you don’t know baseball even in today’s game.
