If you have not listened to Greta Van Fleet yet, you should give them a try. They are a newish band that makes music that sounds like it comes from the 70s. To me, some of their songs sound like a combination of Led Zeppelin and Rush. Give them a listen and let me know what you think.
They are releasing a new album in July and going on another tour. I just saw them live in Greenville in February and they were great. Can't wait to see them again.

Heat Above and Black Smoke Rising are probably my favorites. Built by Nations is good as well.

out there is Marcus King, from Greenville! He can play anything...rock, country, blues, jazz...and is a great songwriter, too. And his drummer is from Clemson!

Been listening for a couple years. Very Led Zeppelin-esq. One of a few decent modern rock bands.

Been listening to them for years," when the current falls" is a great one. If you like zeppelin, This is a band for you. Some of the melodies are almost identical

Awww you got me. Was so excited when I read your subject until I opened it up. Love old rock but evidently one of the few in here that doesn’t like them. Just saw queensryche twice in Florida with the amazing guitarist Marty Friedman. Great show. If ya like things a bit heavier than Greta check out queensryche newest release Digital Noise Alliance

Yessir!! Glad to see my favorite band mentioned on TigerNet. Saw them 4 years ago in Charlotte and have been hooked ever since. Cant wait for this new album!

Such a high energy band, marked by a 70s rock n roll sound. So good!!! Irks me that so many criticize them for sounding too much like Led Zeppelin! What? That's ridiculous! They sound like they sound...simply AWESOME!!!
