Go back and watch the men’s gymnastics from the other night. This is what the Olympics use to be about in every sport- before the likes of Lebron came into the picture.
Genuine passion for the sport and absolutely elated to be there and on top of the world just to win a bronze.

No entitlements. No hate for our country. All love for their teammates. Very very refreshing.

That was fun to watch and pull for them as a team. Everyone of them were stoked, what a team effort! Each did their part.

So what you're saying is you have to go back deep into the history of yesterday to know what the Olympics "used to be like"...sounds like they Olympics are still what they used to be like then.

I have seen passion and love for their teammates while watching Gymnastics, Swimming, Water Polo, Rugby, Judo...every competition I have watched.

No doubt, our guys were just on top of the world winning the bronze. Too much emphasis is put on being a champion but those guys are champions in the eyes of every American.
