#1 Tennessee lost at Florida by a score of 73-43...

It happens. Just bounce back Saturday and move on...

This game in and of itself doesn’t mean much. But the ACC schedule is so bad there is little margin for error. The Warren Nolan projections had us only losing 2 more games the entire season and we would still end up with a RPI in the 30s (they don’t project out NET rankings this early). It’s probably a 3 bid league this year after flirting with it last year. 9 of the ACC’s 18 teams are projected to finish below 200 in RPI. Half the conference finishing that bad is beyond unprecedented. I don’t know how it’s possible but the ACC just keeps getting worse.

Buying in to what? We play who we play and most of them are God-awful.

### are you talking about? The schedule is really important for NET rankings and if you get a tournament bid. The ACC is really bad this year, and it's expected they're only taking the champ + 2 other teams. It does mean you need to win the games on your schedule.

With Duke guaranteed a spot and Pitt looking good, if there are only 3 bids we are fighting Louisville for one.

The loss by itself doesn't matter but if we don't win the vast majority of games left we may not get into the tournament.

As for the game, in the first half we were making hard shots. They were making easy shots.

Not surprised they pulled away in the second half given that.

Hopefully we can improve our road play, currently we are 1-3 in true road game

Trips to GT and Pitt next week…not easy at all.
I do think this team needs to prove they can really win a tough road game. Net rankings aside, there are several tough road games ahead…we’ll see what we’ve got in those games.

Got to beat FSU and at Ga Tech to feel good going into at Pitt. Pitt will be toughest road game left and in case you lose that you would be 6-2 going to last 2/3rds of ACC schedule.

Losing games like this one

bite into Clemson's ability to secure an at-large tourney bid when they fail to win the floundering ACC outright.

I don't think we're gonna need the security cameras for this next part.

30 point loss? Rick must have thought he was back in chapel hill. Did he finish with 5 on the floor?
