For those pulling for FSU in the NC game....

What are your reasons? I am pulling for them basically for two reasons....my dislike of Auburn, and my dislike of all the SEC attention. I also think it will be great if an ACC team beats them versus a Big 10 or Pac 10 team, since the ACC's reputation is crap in football nationally. I'm not an ACC pumper by any means, just think it will be nice to see an end to the SEC reign and if it comes at the hands of an ACC team well all the better.
I guess if it were say FSU versus Oregon or TOSU or someone else not from the SEC I would definitely still watch, but not really be pulling for FSU.

Somebody has to end the SEC thing. Hopefully it helps us some way if it is the ACC. That said I still detest FSU.

I am, however, pulling against anything and everything $EC.
Now...from what I understand, my choice of team to "pull for" has no bearing on the outcome of the game.
I'm still trying to get confirmation on that

The media will crown them with the 'SECish,' title. There's no way to win that one. They've called us SECish a time or two over the past couple of years.
As long as we have as many sucky teams as we do there's not getting away from the stigma of being a sucky football conference.
The only thing the ACC get out of this MNCG is the money.

Can I pull for an ACC team without being called a conference homer? If I pull for Stanford in the Rosebowl does that make me a PAC homer?
We are all about Clemson. We don't have the need to be affiliated with a conference to proudly wear our Paw.

Though I would like to see an ACC team win it
since the ACC schools don't get respect at a constant
like the SEC does.

I am pulling for Auburn,and not because I like Auburn.
I just dislike FSU even more.
Just my opinion,but an FSU win does nothing to help Clemson ,especially in recruiting,and especially if we lose to OSU.
Clemson needs to win the Orange because it is the last BCS Bowl that Clemson will participate in ,and it will help recruiting,as well as repair some of the visual damage done by the 2012 Orange Bowl fiasco,and by the embarrassing loss to FSU this year in The Valley.
FSU,on the other hand is the only team in the ACC that benefits from winning the NC.
Look,everyone knows the SEC is the preemient conference in
America,and winning,or losing the last BCS National Championship isn't going to change that.
FSU ,on the other hand winning the NC does not help Clemson,imo,one iota.
