Not that it matters, Venables has a good eye for LB talent.

The prospect of having everything paid for may turn him away from Clemson if they truly believe this guy is the real deal.

He is very hard-working as well. I trust our coaching staffs ability to scout talent and this kid will develop nicely. Most people downplay how important it is to not only be talented, but to have the intelligence to comprehend a playbook and schemes. This is college football, and the days of backyard ball is over. We need kids that can collectively understand the grand scheme of things, and that's what our staff is recruiting for. Look for this kid to be beastly by 2015.

Like you, I think this staff has proven they can recruit. With all the 5 Stars, Shuey is the best LB. What was he , a 2-3 star ?

This kid has the build, body, and base of a MLB. He will be a leverage type of LB. Add strength, quickness, and a little bit of speed, this kid will be a great LB for Clemson. Style of play similar to Boulware and can be a Ray Lewis type of Backer with his physical present and playing style. He just looks like a LB. 3.4 gpa means he's definitely a student of the game and will have a nose for the football. Working SMART then HARD. Probably be a film studying junkie. Great get TIGERS! ALL-IN FOR GREAT FUTURE AT CLEMSON WILLIAMS.
