I think he just took the first big offer he got and didn't think he was going to get anymore. Honestly I see him probably making 2 or 3 more commitments before nsd

Kid is very fast, but IMO screwed Clemson and Dabo. He had very few offers from what I can remember when he committed to us.
I hate to lose a kid like him. I think he could have been a help to us, but he won't break us. If he is going to Ohio St. Dabo needs to send Meyer a letter telling him he is welcome for helping him find more talent. That is 3 we've lost to them that I can recall if he goes there. One as a DT that was in-state, the Raekwon, and now Briscoe.

He was really fast about turning his back on commitment, Clemson, and Dabo, really fast. When people turn their back on good people that has done good by them. They will turn their back on anyone else that trust them. We're better off by not having a character as his at Clemson or in our FB program. Good riddance to anyone that's illiterate to the meaning of commitment !!!

I agree every decommitent doesn't equal the player was not going to qualify. It's ok for a kid to be talented and smart and go somewhere besides clemson.
I would much rather have this happen now then NSD or come here then decide to transfer out.

Did we really need to sign DB's in this cycle with the youth we have?
Would rather see us use his spot to take a power RB, QB transfer, OL or DL.

Not the other way around. If that makes the guy that has 61 DB's in the country feel better, then so be it.
Move on to a real 4 star and not the 3 star rated DB by every other service besides ESPN.
This helps us more than it hurts us. I thought he diminished our star quality and with all the DB's we have, we can focus on a truly elite guy.

No. Just no.
Watch some film of him. He's a little raw but as far as athleticism and upside goes, he could easily be a five star. He needs some technique work, which is why he's a 4 star. But don't say he wasn't worth that 4th star.
We'll miss him in this class.

Just hope this is an isolated case and we don't see another potential elite signing class start changing their minds as early enrollment and NSD quickly arrive.

I'm with some others on here thinking that maybe Dabo de/committed from him first. He was really vocal in announcing publicly about he was going to take visits elsewhere and that his commitment to Clemson if you read between the lines wasn't an all in commitment. I was a little startled when I read a poster saying that he didn't expect or see that coming. And honestly, I think that someone on the coaching staff told him that his offer was no longer a done deal offer. I can't say that I blame Dabo or BV if that is what happened, and I expect that it did. And by his twitter message, was just an attempt to save face of no longer having a solid offer from us!!!

Regardless I am not losing any sleep over this, Dabo and V will find an equal or greater replacement for the scholly. Whether it's on D or O I don't care. We are taking of our biggest needs this class, Oline and QB depth. Sleep easy Tigers!!

My motto is, if you ain't with us, you must be against us. So don't expect any mercy from our players and fans. And just don't expect just b/c you have walked amongst us smiling, happy, playing grab A$S, and feeling the orange power with us, that our attitudes toward you will be the same as it was back then. If so, what a rude awakening you will wake up to. Later A$S hole!!!

Its a shame that a lot of these guys has never had the word commitment explained to them, not in school, home, or in any surroundings of their lives. And kids coming up when I was coming up, we knew the meaning of commitment before we ever entered school because that is what men back then, they lived and died by, their word. And the meaning by men in their 30's these days, their word isn't worth the air they use to say I give you my WORD!!! Dabo should place a poster on the door entering and leaving his office in large print listing the true meaning of commitment.
COMMITMENT, commitment represents the inner fiber of what REAL TRUST WORTHY HONORABLE YOUNG AND OLDER MEN ARE ACTUALLY MADE OF. If this isn't you, please don't waste our time, b/c you're not made of what it takes to become a respectable, honorable, CLEMSON MAN!!!
[kuh-mit-muh nt]
Examples Word Origin
#1>>> the act of committing.
#2>>> the state of being committed.
#3>>> to bind or obligate, as by pledge or assurance; pledge: to commit oneself to a promise; to be committed to a course of action.
