his last year of eligibility at Clemson, perhaps he doesn't want to dedicate himself to great effort required to earn more playing time and thus more receptions. Not a knock.....he's had to work his rear off to get the playing time he gets....and I personally thought he'd shown improvement and reliability and would be getting more playing time this season.
I've enjoyed watching Brandon play....he's shown himself to a be a model Clemson student-athlete who's on schedule to be graduated. If, in point of fact, Brandon does decide to leave, I certainly wish him the bes

for most athletes, there comes a point in time where you realize that you can't step up with the competition. For me, it was when they started throwing curve balls in baseball. No amount of effort would have overcome my inability to hit the curve...
I think Brandon has realized that he wants to continue playing, but is being honest with himself about his prospects for playing time at Clemson. For that, he is to be commended.
Good luck, and hopefully we'll see him back soon - he's always welcome at my tailgate...

Dabo has failed so far with player development on the offensive side of the ball. I hope Morris can change this.

to catch a ball" sounds like a problem with SELF-development with the YOUNGER clear generation (him AND his brother)

Really? High recruit who was a good blocker but not so good at actually catching the ball. And was a senior. We had to rely on a true fresh and now guys that are not even on campus for this season. I hope Morris is the real deal because either Dabo or Napier were the problem.

is well and done. So far, Napier has been the scapegoat, and that may be well and true, but this season will answer a lot of questions.

Brandon Clear and Byron Clear were Student-Athletes! They worked hard and did evertything that the Coaches asked of Them! The focused their Engery and Effort on the things that they could control, The Classroom! They both graduated in 3 Years with a 3.3 and 3.6 GPAs! Stop Hating on Them because the Coaches couldn't do what the Clemson Professor Did! (Help to elevate them to a Higher Level!)

be good football players, and contribute to the team. they didn't pan out.
congrats to them for their hard work in the CLASSROOM, they'll always be tigers so i respect that. but now they don't count towards our 85 scholly's so we'll be able to sign some real talent to fill those spots.
they'll always be tigers in my eyes and for that I am respectful and grateful, don't make me out to be a bad guy just because I said they didn't pick up the game of football as well as their peers did.

Everyone is an all star coming out of high school. He was just beat out by other players. We may likely see the same if the stud receivers coming in meet all the press and hype. Happens everywhere. Seems like Illinois offers about everyone anyway.

I think Ralph Cooper and Zeph Grimes out of Bamberg and Fairfield Central will do well there. Good players and good kids.

Neither is Illinois. But he will get good guidance from Paul Petrino.
